DevOps (AWS+k8s)

Team: Setup Team

Location:

We are building a B2B iGaming platform and are looking for a DevOps developer to join our new Setup team. Seeking an experienced middle or senior engineer with strong technical expertise. Enthusiastic or expert in Amazon Web Services (AWS). Specialized in Network and Information Security. Familiarity with performance testing, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CICD), Infrastructure as Code (IaaC), etc. Willingness to audit existing solutions and implement design and implementation improvements. Direct reporting to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with interaction with the Development (DEV) and DevOps teams primarily.

Your tasks:

  • Conduct an audit of existing AWS solutions including architecture assessment, identifying weaknesses, and imperfections.
  • Develop or modify existing monitoring systems covering infrastructure metrics, application metrics, and business or production indicators.
  • Optional tasks include Information Security audits and performance testing.
  • Optimize CICD processes and set up deployment environments.
  • Conduct an audit of existing AWS architecture (source code review and tech specialist interviews) and propose three basic improvement ideas.
  • Evaluate the monitoring system and provide suggestions to enhance transparency.

Our criteria:

  • Proficiency in Amazon AWS.
  • Experience with Kubernetes (k8s), Docker, Helm, and Terraform.
  • Knowledge of Deck House (OpenShift), Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, and Cloud Flare.
  • Proficient in *nix systems and shell scripting.
  • Familiarity with Network and Domain basics.
  • Additional skills such as Information Security and performance testing tools (e.g., k6, locust) are advantageous.

Hiring Process:

  • Prescreening interview to assess technical skills and experience.
  • Interview with the hiring manager to discuss qualifications and fit for the role.
  • Technical test task to evaluate practical abilities.
  • Interview with CEO for final approval and cultural fit assessment.
